Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics (Nights) Pittsfield, MA – Meta Sense Inc

This is a temporary position for pediatric nursing on nights in a small community hospital unit. The unit has a 1:3 patient ratio with a maximum of 3 patients. Call-outs are not allowed as they would impact patient care. The unit has backup support from Family Birthplace staff, respiratory and IV therapists, and a security-guarded environment with a panic button for immediate help.

Rooming-in for parents is supported to involve families in care; in-room games, videos, and a play room are available for non-contagious stays.

• Provide pediatric nursing care for a very small unit (up to 3 patients) during night shifts.
• Coordinate with backup staff and specialists (respiratory, IV therapy) as needed to ensure patient safety.
• Uphold family involvement in care, including rooming-in and child- and family-centered care practices.
• Adhere to unit policies and call-out procedures (note: call-outs not allowed).

• 3 years current Pediatric experience
• ADULT MS EXPERIENCE – Preferred (to Float) – Please note experience on profile
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred
• Permanent address must be included in profile
• Traveler must have their own vehicle

• ACLS
• PALS
• BLS

• Massachusetts State License

• Base pay range: $30.23/hr – $30.23/hr
