Job Title

Temp – Pharmacist – Retail (Days) – Pittsfield, MA

Travel time days. Not located within 50 miles of facility.

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing patient‑centered care in a multidisciplinary practice setting with pharmacists, nurses, physicians and other personnel.

• Assess patient therapy for appropriateness, incorporating age‑specific modifications and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events.
• Conduct clinical research and other professional development programs.
• Oversee and participate in maintaining and storing adequate inventory of all medication required for the practice.
• Develop and update department and nursing policies.

• 5+ years extensive acute care clinical experience (required)
• Doctoral of Pharmacy (Pharm D) (required)
• Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology (strongly preferred)
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) (strongly preferred)
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision within established policy.
• Capability to supervise support personnel.
• Specialty Pharmacy medication management experience.
• Retail pharmacy experience (required)
• Own vehicle for travel requirement.
