Recovery Specialist II – Berkshire Health Systems

Responsibilities:

• Functions in a complementary or assistive role to all members of the healthcare team and carries out individual duties in accordance with policies and procedures of Berkshire Medical Center.
• Oversees and accompanies clients in various program activities to ensure conformance with schedules, milieu standards, program activities, and policies.
• Completes required paperwork and conducts small and large therapy sessions under the supervision of the Senior Clinician.
• Assists the Recovery Specialist I role when needed.

Qualifications:

• One year of substance use treatment experience in a mental health or substance use environment is preferred; other relevant experience will be considered.
• Associate’s Degree in Health and Human Services or a closely related field is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• CPR certification within three months of hire.
• ACE – Addiction Counselor Education (ACE) certification or an Associate’s Degree in the field is required.
• Entry level; full‑time employment.
