The Planet Group is partnering with our client to find a strong Lead Engineer for their office in western Massachusetts.
Minimum of 5 years of experience is required in civil and/or environmental engineering.
Compensation: $130K - $150K plus bonus
A PE or EIT is highly preferred.

- Lead and manage civil site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting from concept through construction
- Title 5 septic system evaluations, design, and regulatory submissions
- Engineering and permitting support for Public Water Supply systems
- Preparation of construction documents, reports, and technical analyses
- Fieldwork including site inspections and soil evaluations
- Coordination with clients, regulators, and contractors
- Mentor junior engineers and field staff and contribute to overall firm development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (MA preferred or ability to obtain)
- 5–10 years of civil engineering experience
, with relevant project background - Experience with Title 5 systems, Public Water Supplies, and/or landfill / solid waste facility monitoring strongly valued
- Massachusetts Soil Evaluator license preferred, but not required
- Proven ability to lead high-volume CAD plan production
- Strong communication, project management, and technical skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a small team
