Special Education Teacher

• In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction for middle school students teaching functional academics, daily living skills, vocational skills, and independence. Curriculum includes activities like cooking, budgeting, job training, and social interaction for older students transitioning to adulthood.

  Monday‑Friday, full‑time hours
• Grade Levels:
  Middle School, 6th‑8th grades

• Focus on teaching functional academics, daily living skills, vocational skills, and independence.
• Curriculum includes activities like cooking, budgeting, job training, and social interaction.
• Work often designed for older students transitioning to adulthood.
• Students may have intellectual disabilities or be preparing for post‑school life.

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Professional teaching license with a Special Education endorsement from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
