Responsibilities- Collaborate with faculty, administrators, families, and outside professionals to provide programming that meets students’ needs and supports their success and independence at JPII.
- Manage the schedule of IEP eligibility and annual review meetings and participate in the evaluation and IEP development process.
- Facilitate regular Student Services meetings to monitor student progress, identify concerns, and develop action steps to address school needs.
- Provide resources and support for faculty and the Student Services Team part‑time member to develop highly effective accommodations and classroom strategies.
- Work with the Dean of Academics to maximize the utilization of IDEA funds for services, materials, and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with Admission, Guidance, Nursing, and School Adjustment professionals to facilitate successful outcomes for students with learning differences.
- Licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
- Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
