OpportunityMiss Hall's School seeks a full-time Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. A Math Teacher can expect to teach four full‑year courses and to hold office hours and/or Math Center hours, when any student may come for help. The candidate may also be asked to perform other duties related to teaching, such as advising, or to work on a committee or with curriculum development.
We are looking for a candidate who can teach all levels of high school mathematics, including Calculus and Statistics courses, and who may have expertise or ideas to expand the department’s offerings, including cross‑disciplinary courses. A collaborative, inspiring, and innovative educator, a Miss Hall's School Math Teacher actively participates in delivering a curriculum that emphasizes a solid foundation in mathematics and the integration of activity-based experiences, while advocating for the students and mission of Miss Hall's School.

- At least two years of experience teaching at the high school or college level
- Bachelor's Degree in math, math education, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred - Knowledge base and comfort with teaching all levels of mathematics
- Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary and innovative curricular design and partnership
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with students of varied academic levels and interests
- Demonstrated ability to integrate classroom technologies to enhance teaching and learning
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community

Faculty salaries are determined based on years of full‑time teaching experience and are structured into salary bands in five‑year increments. Each band corresponds to a defined salary range, benchmarked annually against NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) median compensation data. Range:
Band 1 Start $57,000 to Band 6 Start $89,650. Please note, at this time, Miss Hall's School is unable to sponsor visa applications for candidates for employment in the 2026-27 school year.
