Service Technician

Overview

This position offers a $4000.00 sign on bonus & $40-$45 per Hour

The Service Technician at Haddad Hyundai is a full-time opportunity in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the Auto Industry, for a skilled individual who can perform a variety of routine automotive service and maintenance tasks. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing the vehicles’ maintenance needs. The position requires expertise in vehicle maintenance and excellent customer service skills.

The Service Technician position will be paid a competitive hourly rate of $40 to $45 per hour, paid weekly.
Pay will be based on experience and certifications
. The successful candidate is also eligible to receive a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, and other benefits.

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicles’ problems accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Completing maintenance tasks on vehicles in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Maintaining an effective working relationship with customers
• Communicating progress of repairs to service advisors and the parts department
• Adhering to all safety regulations

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous Automotive technician experience required
• ASE Certification is a plus
• A valid driver’s license
• Basic automotive knowledge and technical skills
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain car manufacturer service and warranty information
