The Opportunity

You will step into a critical leadership role within our Field Operations, helping drive the success of commercial new construction projects across the Pittsburgh market. This is not just an installer role - we need a licensed leader who can run work, guide apprentice-heavy crews, coordinate effectively in the field, and help keep projects on schedule and profitable. You will oversee projects from underground through rough-in and trim while representing the professionalism, precision, and accountability S&T Plumbing LLC is known for.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead daily field operations for commercial new construction plumbing projects, including underground, rough-in, and trim phases.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide work accurately in the field.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain project schedules and job site flow.
• Supervise and support field crews, especially apprentice-heavy teams, to improve production, accountability, and quality.
• Enforce Allegheny County plumbing code compliance and job site safety standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to prevent delays and rework.
• Manage materials, equipment, and daily priorities to keep 10-hour shift goals on track.
• Represent the company professionally on active commercial job sites and in project meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Active Allegheny County Journeyman Plumber License
• Minimum 5 years of commercial new construction plumbing experience
• Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret plans accurately
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing code and commercial installation practices
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lead crews and work independently in the field

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience as a Foreman, Lead, or primary field leader on commercial projects
• Experience mentoring apprentices and less-experienced field staff
• Experience coordinating directly with GCs and participating in job meetings
• Background in excavation support or underground commercial plumbing work
