Lead Sign Installer / "Field General"

Location:

FASTSIGNS | Pittsburgh, PA

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Occasional OT required)

High-level experience in Carpentry, Electrical, or Commercial Maintenance translates perfectly to this role.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

* Command the Fleet:
Take full management of the install fleet. You are responsible for the "pre-flight" check-ensuring 100% of tools, hardware, and signage are loaded to eliminate costly return trips.

* Expert Execution:
Perform high-quality installs of channel letters, dimensional signs, and pylon signs across diverse substrates (Brick, EIFS/Stucco, Metal Studs, etc.).

* Digital Leadership:
Use our project management apps and tablets for site surveys, photo documentation, and real-time updates. If you can't document it digitally, the job isn't done.

* Site Safety:
Operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts in strict accordance with company standards. You are the safety officer on every site.

* Client Relations:
Act as the primary on-site contact for clients and General Contractors, maintaining a professional presence and a spotless job site.

Who You Are (Requirements)

* Proven Tradesperson: 3+ years of experience in a skilled trade (Sign Install, Carpentry, or similar). You know exactly which anchor to use for every wall type.

* Aerial Mastery:
Comfortable and competent operating bucket trucks and working at heights up to 25'+.

* Tech-Fluent:
You are as comfortable with a smartphone/tablet as you are with a hammer drill. Our workflow is 100% digital.

* Physical Capability:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

* Reliability:
You are a "no-excuses" professional. When the Lead doesn't show, the truck doesn't move. High attendance is non-negotiable.

* Clean Record:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (must be insurable on our commercial policy).

Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card may be required.
