Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water, gas, and drainage piping systems in accordance with local and national plumbing codes
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary service repairs or replacements
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure all work is performed efficiently, safely, and with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Accurately complete work orders, time sheets, and reports
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
- Support apprentices and promote skill development where applicable
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in plumbing installation and service work
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and safety practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Experience with both commercial and residential projects preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, rooftops, and in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and climb for extended periods
