Saturday & Sunday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and experienced Armed Security Officer to provide overnight security services in Central Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate is dependable, alert, and capable of responding effectively to incidents while maintaining a strong customer service presence.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols of assigned property

* Monitor for and report security threats, hazards, or unusual activity

* Respond to incidents in accordance with Post Orders and Use of Force Policy

* Complete detailed, accurate, and legible incident reports

* Enforce site-specific policies and procedures

* Provide professional customer service and maintain a visible security presence

* Follow all company policies, attendance standards, and grooming guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (required)

* 3-5 years of professional experience preferred (security, law enforcement, or military highly desired)

* Strong report-writing and communication skills

* Ability to remain calm and de-escalate tense situations

* Reliable transportation required

Required Certifications & Equipment

* Current ACT 235 Certification (required)

* Level 2 retention holster or higher

* Duty belt

* Personally owned firearm

* Prior armed security experience required

Additional Requirements

* Must successfully pass background investigation and drug/alcohol screening

* Valid driver's license may be required depending on assignment

* Must meet all client and company-specific requirements
