Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (LD)

Location

This position is located in a high-demand area requiring specialized experience in Labor and Delivery.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shifts include 3 × 12-hour shifts per week, featuring a true rotating schedule that may alternate within the same week. Weekend work is required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced registered nurse for a position focusing on high-risk Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess skills in Antepartum and Circulate C-sections. Candidates must be able to navigate a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Effectively manage antepartum and circulate during C-sections.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid nursing license appropriate to the state of practice.
• High-risk Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Flu and COVID vaccinations are required; medical/religious declinations will be accepted.
