Candidate will performs the primary functions of a RN in assessing planning implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients on the unit during the shift. Coordinates care for both outpatient and inpatient cancer patients.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the state of PA. Completion of a comprehensive program at an established chemotherapy center. Professional certification in Oncology Nursing upon hire or within one year.
Physical Standards:Constantly: (Exists 75% or more of the time) Lifting and carrying 0-10 lbs.
Frequently: (Exists 25-75% of the time) Standing; sitting with back support; walking; reaching (overhead, forward, lateral, low); stooping (bend at waist); crouching (bend at knees); twisting; operating machinery.
Occasionally: (Exists 5- 25% of the time) Sitting without back support; stooping (bend at waist); kneeling; climbing; balance; pushing and pulling 0-15 lbs.; exposure to radiation, slippery surfaces.
Rarely: (Exists under 5% of the time) Lifting and carrying 10-25 lbs.; exposure to chemical hazards, dust.
Sensory Requirements:Visual: close paperwork, VDT used, color vision required, visual monotony;
Hearing: conversation, telephone, background noise.
