Description:
3 Pavilion is a medical teaching unit designed to provide specialized care for patients with complex medical needs requiring cardiac medical needs, particularly those requiring cardiac monitoring and stroke management. The emphasis on team-oriented care, hands-on experience with various medical devices (such as chest tubes, feeding tubes, and tracheostomies), and a supportive learning environment designed for nurses can develop both their clinical skills and teamwork abilities.
The focus on teaching and leadership fosters a strong environment for professional growth.

We offer a robust career ladder for bedside nursing that starts with Professional Staff Nurse and leads to Expert Nurse and beyond. The final job title and rate of pay will be based upon both individual qualifications and candidate choice. Any required certifications and contributions based on job title will be afforded a timeframe to obtain.
Our competitive career ladder, as well as our Total Rewards package, will be discussed at time of offer to ensure you can make the choices that are right for you. The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $37.00.
Responsibilities:

Educate patients, families, and staff using adult learning principles; support team learning and guide patients through care transitions.
+ Provide Holistic Care:
Deliver individualized care using the nursing process, set daily goals, communicate clearly, and document thoroughly.

Participate in shared governance and quality initiatives, adapt to change, and use evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
+ 0-6 months of experience required.
+ An Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN, or MSN is required.
+ Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide care and interact with all ages of patients. Understand the principles of growth and development over the lifespan.
+ Establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with patients and their families, executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, and other departments.
+ Work productively and effectively in an environment with changing priorities that require specialized skills.
+ Think critically to analyze and problem-solve to deliver the best patient care. Use sound clinical judgment and problem-solving to deliver quality patient care when it matters most.
