Porter / Groundskeeper - Pittsburgh, PA (15222)
Join a welcoming residential community where your work keeps the property looking its best every day. As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you'll support apartment communities, helping create clean, inviting spaces residents are proud to call home. This is a contract-to-hire role with Thursday-Monday, plus weekends 8am-5pm hours at $16/hr.
Job Description
You will help maintain interior and exterior spaces, support amenity areas, and ensure residents have a clean, inviting environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean lobbies, offices, amenity rooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Maintain outdoor courtyards, pool/spa spaces, and walkways
- Remove trash and maintain dumpsters, compactors, and docks
- Clean elevators, stairwells, windows, bike storage, and furnishings
- Assist with weekly resident Happy Hour on a rotating schedule
- Support maintenance team tasks and report repair needs
- Demonstrate safe use of cleaning chemicals and provide excellent hospitality
- Prior porter/groundskeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work Thursday-Monday schedule (8am-5pm)
- Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
- Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures
