Help Desk Summer Internship

Overview

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Help Desk Summer Internship. This internship position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

* Field Help Desk calls and accurately record user information and problem description

* Assist users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, operating system and application issues

* Monitor team queue for new issues, and utilize ticket management software to appropriately assign and document issues

* Perform various tasks assigned by senior technicians

* Assist with various IT projects and objects

Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology or a related field

* Minimum GPA of at least 3.0

* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills

* Ability to use and support the Microsoft Office Suite

* Working knowledge of Windows 11 operating system

* Punctuality and good attendance record a must

* Must be able to lift 25 pounds
