Direct Support Professional

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in our Crafton, PA locations.

Position Details

This role provides individualized support to residents in a residential setting, assisting with daily living activities, community involvement, and maintaining a safe, clean living environment. Work is performed under the supervision of the House Manager, and staff are expected to follow assigned shift routines and daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and hygiene

* Provide individualized, person-centered care and active treatment

* Support residents in social, recreational, work, and day program activities

* Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining living areas

* Promote resident safety, well-being, and independence

* Transport and accompany residents to appointments, community activities, or emergencies as needed

* Administer medications upon completion of required training

* Complete accurate documentation, daily notes, and progress reports

* Participate in team meetings and required trainings

Skills & Requirements

* Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism

* Ability to lift and transfer residents (50+ lbs as needed)

* Ability to follow policies, procedures, and supervision

* Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork

Earn $17.00 per hour

* Heavy Work Requirements:

* Ability to occasionally lift or exert up to 100 lbs

* Ability to frequently lift or exert up to 50 lbs

* Ability to continuously lift or exert 20 lbs or more
