The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Long-Term Substitute Health and Physical Education at Jefferson and Foster Elementary Schools.
This is a full-time, on-site, temporary vacancy with an anticipated start date of April 24, 2026, through the remainder of the school year (anticipated 30 days).
Due to the length of the assignment, this position will be paid at the degree level daily rate for step 1 of the teachers salary schedule, with rates starting at $289 per day.
This position will not be eligible for paid time off or district subsidized health benefits.
Required:
Active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Health & Physical Education PK-12.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for employment in Pennsylvania public schools, the following clearances, trainings, and forms are required by the District at the time of hire:

Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting (Act 126)
Arrest or Conviction Form PDE 6004 (Act 24)
School Personnel Health Record & TB Test
Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
