About This Position

This position will be responsible for the organization and co-ordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Provides administrative and office support to the Food Service Management team for multiple locations.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

* Organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

* Responsible for basic office accounting functions such as reviewing and collection of payables, accounts receivable and processing payroll for assigned units.

* Process invoices and enters data to balance accounting records, accurately pay invoices, payroll reporting, and reconciling reports.

* Provide administrative and office support to the Food Service Management team which will include handling basic office accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and processing payroll for assigned units.

* Assist in preparation of spreadsheets for weekly/monthly reports.

* Regular activity reporting to manager, CPI tracking.

* Maintain office supply inventory.

* Back up Regional Coordinator and staff as needed.

* Complete miscellaneous duties and assignments as assigned by Manager.

* Prepare updates to District Client list.

* Contract organizing and management such as collecting, sending reminders, tracking.

* Weekly financial flash-up.

* Client Holiday cards.

* Serv Safe master list tracking for unit.

* TTO statistics and tracking if appropriate.

* Maintain District Organization chart.

* Some Travel may be needed to attend and assist in Regional Meetings.

* Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

* High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.

* 3 - 5 years related experience.

* Valid Photo .

* Excellent telephone and communication skills.

* 10-key calculator experience.

* General office machine experience.

* PC experience required - word processing and spreadsheet generation (including Microsoft Office programs).

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

* Ability to write simple correspondence.

* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

* Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of KCN Organization and correctional facilities in a professional manner.

* Ability to prioritize projects from several sources and departments.

* Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Ability to work independently or within a team.

* Customer service oriented.

* Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
