The Accounting Specialist will support daily accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts payable. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a small business setting. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• High-volume data entry and processing of approximately 100 invoices per week

• The Accounting Specialist will review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system

• Maintain organized and accurate financial records

• The Accounting Specialist will assist with vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies as needed

• Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as requested

• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience

• Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail

• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to manage priorities and work independently

Preferred:

• Experience with Quick Books Desktop

• Small business or professional services experience

• Prior exposure to high-volume invoice processing
