Position Details:Join our Medical Surgical unit, also known as Med-Surg, which serves as the foundation of nursing. Our 32-bed unit at Mercy Pittsburg manages acute medical surgical patients with diverse diagnoses and care needs. Here, you will care for patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions, adapting to the varying acuity of patient conditions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Utilizing the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
- Coordinating patient care in collaboration with other departments.
- Upholding patient rights and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Performing duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Required
Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited school. - License: Current RN license in our state or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Relocation Assistance up to $3,000 per policy.
