Clinic RN - Specialty Pittsburg

Overview

Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. The incumbent shall carry out responsibilities and integrate the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area under responsibility.

In communicating with patients, families, visitors and employees, a caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach is expected. Performs related duties as assigned. • Education:
  
  Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure:
  Current valid state license.
• Experience:
  
  Not required.
• Certifications:
  
  CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  Skill in assisting and performing a variety of medical treatments and procedures; calm and effective in emergency situations; ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies; clear communication and effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public; basic computer terminal and keyboard skills, or ability to learn them; equipment operation related to specialty of clinic.
