Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist for a day shift role in the Pittsburg, KS area, requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Home health setting with a geriatric patient population
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from office hub
- Average caseload is 5-7 patients per day
- Requires experience with HCHB EMR system
- No on-call required
- Locals accepted at travel rate
- Timely communication and documentation are required
- Dress code requires scrubs in any color, no jeans
- iPad provided for documentation; cell phone use is not permitted
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with HCHB EMR required
