The Medical Assistant position provides clerical support for the medical department providing assistance to staff, clients and pharmacies. Additionally, the Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining documentation within the clinical records of clients.

Graduation from high school or equivalency is required. Previous clerical or general office experience or training required. Previous medical office experience preferred.

Incumbent must:

• Be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
• Follow instructions from the supervisor accurately
• Possess knowledge of general cleaning procedures and safety practices
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
• Perform task accurately, effectively and in a timely manner
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Safely perform major job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
