General

Summary:

A Host is responsible for directing the traffic flow of guests in the restaurant, handling all payment transactions, and ensuring the security of the cash drawer. The position reports to the General Manager and requires minimal supervision.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests, knowing how to read and use the seating chart and wait list.

Be knowledgeable about Rib Crib products, including preparation methods, portion sizes, and prices, and be able to discuss these with customers in person or over the phone.

Answer phone calls, determine their nature, and direct calls appropriately. Take call-in orders and answer catering questions as needed.

Oversee cleanliness and organization of the cashier stand and restroom maintenance.

Perform stocking services for the to-go station and package to-go orders.

Record and analyze cash flow, including opening, running, and closing duties.

Demonstrate teamwork by being willing to assume any responsibility or task (
