Assistant Account Administrator – part‑time (approx. 20 hours/week), onsite at the Pittsburg office.

$23.58 – $29.40 hourly, non‑exempt.
What you’ll do- Confidently respond to walk‑in customers, colleagues, clients, and brokers in person, by email, phone, or written correspondence.
- Provide accurate business analytics support to Sales Management.
- Research and resolve billing, invoicing, group claims and benefit inquiries.
- Prepare group information packets.
- Prepare ad‑hoc Excel reports and analysis via various systems.
- Cover and perform duties for staff as needed during high workload periods.
- Open and close the office each business day and perform light maintenance and cleaning.
- Other duties as required.
- Must sign a non‑compete agreement.
- Travel may be required.
- Must be able to lift, bend, and load supplies and office equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Phone usage up to 20% of the day and keyboard use up to 80% of the day.
- Must comply with corporate compliance program, confidentiality, attendance policy, and information security policies.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
State of Kansas Insurance Agent license within 90 days and maintained; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; strong Excel data analytics; excellent organizational & time‑management; high attention to detail; strong communication; team player; customer focus; ability to read/understand instructions; self‑direction; technology savvy; valid driver’s license. - Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. - Experience:
One year sales coordination, office administration, or business operations; preference for health insurance or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas experience.
