Data Visualization Platform Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Piscataway, NJ that is seeking a Data Visualization Platform Engineer.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Visualization Platform Engineer to manage, maintain, and evolve our enterprise-wide data visualization ecosystem. This role requires a unique combination of deep technical expertise in modern data platforms and visualization tools, alongside strong business acumen and stakeholder communication skills. The ideal candidate will ensure the platform is secure, performant, and scalable while actively engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and drive Data Visualization standards and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business/IT Systems Management, or a related field

* 3+ years of experience focused on major data visualization platforms (e.g., Domo, Sigma, Tableau, or similar)

* Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to integrate data into visualization tools

* Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and understanding of cloud data services (e.g., Snowflake, Big Query)

* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with professionals from diverse backgrounds and varying technical skill levels

* Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure the timely completion of tasks and strict adherence to deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
