Our Operations team works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver solutions to our customers.
We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Lead to support and lead a team in areas such as electro‑mechanical assembly, test, material handling, pack, and ship. The Production Lead is a hands‑on process leader responsible for coordinating daily production activities, troubleshooting process issues, and driving continuous improvement within their area of responsibility.
Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of technicians and associates to execute daily manufacturing operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Act as the primary point of contact for real‑time process issues; troubleshoot and elevate when necessary.
Plan, assign, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals and schedule adherence, ensuring effective shift handoffs and end‑of‑shift reporting.
Provide direct coaching and training to team members, contributing to onboarding and ongoing skills development. Develop and implement training plans within your department.
Maintain and update training documents and visual work instructions; validate SOP effectiveness and drive updates when deviations are identified.
Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S, safety, Kaizen), using data collection and root cause analysis to drive results.
Review team output for quality and adherence to production specifications; ensure metrics are met across individual and team performance.
Facilitate daily stand‑up meetings and ensure alignment with cross‑functional teams to support shift readiness and performance.
Foster a culture of safety by modeling best practices, escalating hazards, and ensuring compliance with site safety protocols.
Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing team.
