Overview

Hartzell Propeller LLC (HPI) is a world‑class engineering and manufacturing company offering the broadest range of propeller systems in the aviation industry. The Human Resources Director will provide comprehensive leadership for the HR function, aligning HR practices with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape culture, develop talent and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, oversee and implement HR policies, programs and compliance.
  • Lead organizational development, workforce planning and succession strategies.
  • Establish and maintain trust‑based relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with other Signia HR leaders to support the development and implementation of aligned HR strategies.
Deliverables
  • Ensure a strong, trust‑based relationship between employees and the company.
  • Keep a “finger on the pulse” of the organization and promote company culture through employee interactions, our hiring process and other HR related activities.
  • Develop and oversee HR policies, programs and compliance.
  • Lead organizational development, workforce planning and succession strategies.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum 10 years of HR experience.
  • Experience leading a team. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
Technical Competencies
  • Expert knowledge of HR strategy, compliance and organizational development.
  • Experience leading teams and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Employee Relations.
  • Ability to manage various types of employee transitions and disciplinary situations in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
