Overview

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Produce Clerk to join our winning team. As a Produce Clerk you will deliver exceptional customer service while handling, preparing, and merchandising fresh farm‑fresh produce in a fast‑paced and friendly environment.

As a Produce Clerk, you will:

• Stock the Produce department, ensuring proper presentation, facing, filling, and organization of all product items.
• Maintain product knowledge and quality, rotating and trimming produce to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Perform safe and proper use of equipment, including ladders, compactor, and pallet jacks, in accordance with safety regulations.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and move a utility cart holding 20 lbs. for up to 3 hours.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adherence to all safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.

Pay is $17.70 – $23.88 per hour, based on applicant experience and qualifications.
