Base pay range: $17.00/hr – $24.00/hr

Position Summary:

Our members love shopping for fresh food at Sam’s Club because of our hard‑working and happy‑to‑help fresh food associates. As part of the freezer, cooler, and deli team, you’ll keep shelves stocked, maintain sanitary conditions, and provide front‑line customer service in the deli department.

• Ensure high‑quality products are handled and available for members.
• Keep shelves clean, verify expiration dates, and properly dispose of lower‑quality items.
• Packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stocking displays.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, including handling claims, zoning, receiving, stocking, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
• Comply with food handling policies, operate and sanitize equipment, follow cold‑chain procedures when stocking, clean the area, and monitor equipment for proper operation.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

• Experience with stocking and customer service.
• Strong desire to keep member satisfaction as a priority.
• Solution‑seeking mindset and ability to tackle obstacles head‑on.
• Comfortable with change and quick to adapt to different work scenarios.
