The member assistant – cart attendant role involves keeping the parking lot clean and organized, assisting members with purchases, ensuring carts are ready and available, and helping members load their vehicles. You will be on your feet and on the go in all weather, helping create a positive member experience.
Responsibilities- Maintain a well-kept parking lot and assist members with their purchases.
- Ensure carts and flatbeds are available and ready for member use.
- Assist members with loading items into their vehicles and transport as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greet members, and respond to questions.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Support safety and security by following company policies and procedures.
- Support the club’s merchandising and product promotion as applicable.
- Ensure order fulfillment for club pickup orders; notify members of delays; offer alternatives when needed; prepare items for pickup.
- Conduct safety sweeps and maintain facility safety according to company procedures.
- Provide member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing purchases, and handling payments according to policies.
- Utilize cash registers, locate and organize merchandise, and maintain parking lot cleanliness.
- Assist with cart retrieval and transportation of items; maintain availability of carts/flatbeds.
- Adhere to company policies and ethics; promote products and services.
- Collaborate with managers and coworkers to complete work assignments and adapt to feedback and change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Additional compensation may include premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
