Job Overview – Bookkeeper – 34132

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Bookkeeper to support accounting and office operations in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while assisting with day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and inventory-related processes. The ideal candidate is organized, solution-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations
  • Manage bill entry, payment processing, and bill pay activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with basic financial reporting
  • Support the inventory lifecycle within the accounting system, including:
    • Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Receiving inventory
    • Item receipts
    • AP matching
    • Credit memos
    • Bill entry tied to inventory flow
  • Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records
  • Assist with general administrative and office support duties as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate data
Compensation

To $27/hr.

Requirements
  • Experience using Quick Books Desktop Enterprise and/or Quick Books Online
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Familiarity with inventory accounting processes
  • Experience with Avalara is a plus
  • High School Diploma required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred
Sherpa Benefits
  • Must be a full-time employee (30+ weekly hours / +130 hours per month) to be eligible
