Part Time Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Accountant to join a team located south of Charlotte. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks, to ensure accurate financial records and support key operational processes. This position is ideal for professionals with a good foundation in accounting seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, and other financial accounts to maintain accurate records.

- Prepare and post journal entries, including those for depreciation and other adjustments.

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for both companies.

- Manage month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Support the implementation of improved accounting practices.

- Handle general accounting tasks to support operational and financial efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with attention to detail.

- Understanding of journal entries and general ledger management.

- Experience using accounting softwares.

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity while managing multiple responsibilities.
