• Issue and receive tools, equipment, and consumables to and from employees.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, inventory levels, and tool condition.
• Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear; coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Organize and maintain the tool room for efficient storage and easy access.
• Perform periodic inventory checks and audits of tools and equipment.
• Track calibration schedules and coordinate calibration services for precision tools.
• Assist in developing and enforcing tool room policies, including tool check‑out procedures and loss prevention.
• Monitor tool usage to identify high‑usage items and recommend inventory adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper storage procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in an industrial construction tool room environment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory tracking.
• Exceptional organizational skills; detail‑oriented and goal‑oriented.
• Ability to lift and move tools and equipment up to 50 lbs.
