SUMMARY:

Responsible for the delivery of product to Halfway Houses, Beach Club and other specified areas of the resort as necessary. Assists with food and beverage functions mainly pertaining to the outlying areas of the main clubhouse, No. 6, Beach Club, Tennis Club, Halfway Houses, driving range, croquet pavilion and others. Assists with beverage cart operations, box lunches, on-course beverage barrels and beverage bag deliveries.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPR, AED and First Aid Certified or become certified within 90 days of employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required, along with successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines. Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy.
  
  Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.
• Delivers food, beverage and paper products to the operational areas for their operations. Ensures the deliveries are timely and accurate. Any variations to the requisitions should be communicated to the attendants.
• Helps with the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the delivery van. Keeps filled with gas, takes the van to Golf Maintenance for required servicing, keeps the van free of litter and trash or unnecessary items.
• Helps maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the back dock area by making sure items used by the Outside Function department are returned to their proper area or are stored neatly.
• Assists with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the Beverage Room and any other pertinent storage areas. Floors, coolers and product should be kept neat, clean and organized.
• Ensures that all Health Code Requirements are maintained and followed.
• Reports any maintenance needs for the facility or equipment pertinent to the department.
• Demonstrates safe work practices particularly with lifting, loading and driving. Any accidents or injuries are to be reported immediately to his supervisors.
• Is knowledgeable of course activities, master accounts or charging responsibilities of groups or knows where to find the information.
• Has an understanding of the Eatec system and how requisitions are used and filled.
• Assists in period end inventories
• Picks up supplies from the warehouse or other areas as necessary for the department and other operational departments as needed.
• Observes proper dress code and appearance policies.
• Works as a team member with other departments
