What will you do as a PMC CT TechThe CT Technologist is responsible for imaging anatomical information from a cross‑sectional plane of the body. Each image is generated by a computer synthesis of X‑ray transmission data obtained in many directions. The CT Tech also obtains the patients' medical history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
A day in the life of a PMC CT Tech- Positioning patients for CT exam
- Explaining the procedure and obtaining patient consent
- Starting IVs, injecting contrast, and dispensing oral contrast if needed
- Evaluating CT images for technical quality
- Preparing images for transmission to PACS so the radiologist can interpret the scans
- Assisting radiologist with questions regarding MIPS, 3D images, and reconstructions
- Preparing CT orders, EMR notes, and checking lab values
- Ordering and charging entry for procedures
- Loading and operating power injectors for IV contrast media administration
- Performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications- Associates degree in Applied Science or similar field required
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Previous experience as a CT Tech preferred
Day Shift (Monday through Friday) no weekends or holidays
Pay TypeHourly (Non‑Exempt)
