CT Tech; PRN

The CT Technologist is responsible for imaging anatomical information from a cross‑sectional plane of the body. Each image is generated by a computer synthesis of X‑ray transmission data obtained in many directions. The CT Tech also obtains the patients' medical history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.

• Positioning patients for CT exam
• Explaining the procedure and obtaining patient consent
• Starting IVs, injecting contrast, and dispensing oral contrast if needed
• Evaluating CT images for technical quality
• Preparing images for transmission to PACS so the radiologist can interpret the scans
• Assisting radiologist with questions regarding MIPS, 3D images, and reconstructions
• Preparing CT orders, EMR notes, and checking lab values
• Ordering and charging entry for procedures
• Loading and operating power injectors for IV contrast media administration
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Associates degree in Applied Science or similar field required
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Previous experience as a CT Tech preferred

Day Shift (Monday through Friday) no weekends or holidays
