We are seeking an Electronic Imaging Technician to join our team and play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will work various rotating shifts to include weekends and holidays.

• Customer Service:

• • Utilize excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients and other professionals.

• • Greet, receive, and direct customers for various activities throughout the department.

• • Respond to customer needs and communicate special needs to the appropriate technologist.

• Imaging and Clerical Duties:

• • Operate imaging file room equipment and perform clerical functions.

• • Access reports, images, and other patient data via EPIC, PACS, or other related software systems.

• • Fulfill requests for images by utilizing Power Share or copying exams to a CD.

• • Utilize a CD burner to import images and send to PACS or print films upon request.

• • Ensure necessary images are available for surgical procedures.

• • Provide clinical information to requesting physicians/offices within HIPAA guidelines.

• • Hang films for radiologist interpretation.

• Education:

• • High school graduate or GED required.

• • Associate's degree preferred.

• Skills and Experience:

• • Basic knowledge of computers is required.

• • Medical terminology preferred.

• • Previous healthcare experience preferred.

• • Experience in Radiology and PACS preferred.
