Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Care Secretary. In this crucial role, you will manage the processing of medical record orders, reports, and information. You will also ensure our medical supplies and equipment are well-stocked and maintained. As the front-line receptionist, you will create a welcoming environment and operate under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced medical office setting.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process medical record orders and reports.
- Maintain and manage the inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Requisition repairs or replacements for supplies and equipment.
- Serve as the primary receptionist, offering a warm and professional first impression.
- Collaborate and support the Registered Nurse to ensure smooth office operations.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Supplemental training in Medical Office Management is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology highly preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
