Exciting Opportunity for a Full-Time Phuscal Therapist Assistant Floater in our Outpatient/Regional Rehabilitation Program!

Are you a Physical Therapist Assistant looking for a diverse patient caseload? Join our team to have a variety of settings, patients and staff to work with. You ll have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurlogic, balance and geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings in various locations (Pinehurst, Rockingham, Troy, Raeford & Sanford, NC).

Responsibilities
  • Provide One-on One Therapy
    :
    Utilize a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and aquatic therapy, to deliver personalized care.
  • Document Patient Progress
    :
    Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices while maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with Healcare Providers
    :
    Work closely with physicians, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage with a Multidisciplinary Team
    :
    Collaborate with a large team of seasoned Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs).
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation and the importance of ongoinbg self-care.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff.
  • Pursue Professional Development: Participate in continuous professional development through continuing education opportunities and clinical ladder opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current NC PTA license
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and motivate patients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
  • Experience preferred but new graduate candidates considered
