Job OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer provides executive oversight of all financial operations including accounting, payroll, purchasing, revenue cycle management, managed care contracting, physician compensation administration, and audit coordination. This leader partners closely with the CEO to develop long- and short-range strategic plans, capital budgets, service demand analyses, and cost-benefit evaluations of new business initiatives.
The CFO ensures accurate financial reporting, prepares cash flow and variance analyses, monitors banking activities, oversees retirement plan administration, and safeguards financial assets through strong internal controls. Responsibilities include leading annual audits, evaluating third-party financial vendors, overseeing benefit renewals, managing insurance policies, and ensuring full regulatory compliance. The role also supports shareholder buy-in calculations, physician compensation plans, and financial modeling related to regulatory or legislative changes.
