Angiography Scheduling Coordinator

Overview

The Angiography Scheduling Coordinator will be proven to have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. They should be highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Responsible for responding to phone calls and relaying relevant information to staff.
• Schedules inpatients and outpatients appropriately and arranges transportation as needed.
• Communicates with other departments about patient care and information.
• Fax, powershare images, make CD's, replenish fax machines & printers.
• Escort patients to and from waiting room/Outpatient areas.
• Input on-call schedule in Web Exchange monthly and input any updates.
• Receive supplies & scans into the system.
• Input patient names in Spacetracks for Technologists.
• Transport inpatients when necessary.
• Inform Dialysis Center when patients are a "No Show".
• Follow-up with outpatient to see if IR patients have arrived.
• Enter patient's names on Status Board for the following day.
• Stock consent forms and keep them current.
• Follow-up with RN for inpatient orders to provide pertinent information to IR providers.
• Coordinate in-services for staff.

• High School graduate, some college preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months prior medical office experience.
• Maintains certification in BLS.
• Personal computer skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Display critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
