Clam Operator - Unloading Dock

Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company - Pine Bluff Yard in Pine Bluff Arkansas is currently recruiting for a Clam Operator. Only online applicants will be considered and evaluated.

• Do you have the ability and desire to work 12-hour shifts?
• Do you have the willingness and flexibility to work weekends or overtime as needed?
• Do you have the ability to do manual labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds?
• Do you have the ability and desire to work during inclement conditions including extreme heat and cold?
• Do you have the ability to climb ladders, stairs and perform repetitive bending and stooping when required?
• Do you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with the personnel at the facility?
• Are you motivated and a self-starter?

• Water Truck, Skid steer, Back Hoe and Man lift
• General knowledge of aggregate Plant Operations, Asphalt Plant, and Ready Mix Plant
• 972 Loader
• Startup operations for the Plants
• Proper way to inspect plant and recognize malfunctions before startups and during operations
• Complete job duties to the satisfaction of the supervisor
• Demonstrate competency with all safety standards and operation procedures for each area.
• Two years experience in equipment operations
