SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for protecting Company assets and performing surveillance duties to ensure State and Federal gaming laws and policies and procedures are being maintained in Table Games, Slots, Cage, and Count Rooms. In a relief capacity, this position is also responsible for supervising Surveillance Operators and Investigators.

resolution.

Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Observe and report any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of property and ensure these are documented.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all property related issues.
  • Operate monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions.
  • Participate in court actions as required.
  • Learn all games in use on property and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games.
  • Write proper reports as needed.
  • Read and understand Arkansas Gaming Regulations and Title 31 rules and laws.
  • Respond to Surveillance Management and ARC requests.
  • Respond to requests of all other departments when necessary.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Perform work in an honest and trustworthy manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality within the set guidelines.
  • Perform Player evaluations while furthering knowledge of surveillance operations.

  • Ensure at all times that "Confidentiality Rules" are observed and enforced.
  • Attend all training classes and seminars as directed.
  • Must pass all tests and assessments.
  • Maintain digital recordings and storage, and document any system abnormalities or malfunctions in the tech log.
  • Observe and identify suspected cheaters and cheating techniques, and make department management aware of the observations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises Surveillance Operators and Investigators in the absence of the Surveillance Shift Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Must be able to pass, or have already passed, a Blackjack Certification Assessment.

AGE and GAMING:

21 years of age or above

Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the State of Arkansas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate or equivalent. Previous gaming surveillance experience required. Previous experience in a management/supervisory capacity

preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals,

maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group

situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as probability, fractions and percentages preferred.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have 20/20 corrected vision. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifteen (15) pounds, and varied instances of standing/walking during the shift.
