High School Equivalency or adult education programs.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Adult Education Instructor to teach High School Equivalency (HSE) subjects, including Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional abilities, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Teach Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies using effective instructional strategies.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with HSE standards.
• Provide individualized support and maintain an engaging learning environment.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to develop course materials and communicate with students.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain an organized, productive learning space.
• Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning.

• Strong knowledge of teaching strategies and methods in Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
• Native-like fluency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• 3+ years of teaching experience in High School Equivalency or adult education programs.

• Strong classroom management, organization, and planning skills.
• Ability to give clear and concise instructions.
• Proficiency in a second language (preferred).
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Excellent technology skills and experience integrating technology into instruction.
