Position: GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)

Overview

Position: FULL-TIME GRILL COOK

Location: Pikeville Medical Center - 911 S Bypass Road, Pikeville, KY 41501

Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm and 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No experience is necessary. Willing to train.

Fixed Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.

Serves customers efficiently and with courtesy; ensures food is at correct temperature, attractive, and tasty; tastes all prepared items.

Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service; maintains records from the area worked during service periods.

Follows approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.

Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.

Stores foods in designated areas with standard wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.

Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.

Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to the supervisor.

Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.

Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment; performs other duties as assigned.
