Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiology/Cardiovascular – Kentucky

Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Pikeville, Kentucky

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 48 hours per week, 8-week assignment

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiovascular unit caring for adult and elderly patients through the complete cardiac continuum
• Manage complex cardiac patients pre/post CABG and interventional cardiac procedures including sheath maintenance and removal
• Work with advanced cardiac technologies including cardiac monitoring, specialized drips with titration, ACT machines, and sedation protocols
• Comprehensive skill utilization including chest tube management, central line care, infusion therapy, and pain management
• Night shift rotation allowing for focused patient care in a dynamic cardiovascular environment
• 8-week contract providing excellent travel nursing experience in a specialized cardiac setting

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG certifications required
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency in specialized cardiac procedures and equipment
