Job Opportunity – Cath Lab/Pre-Post Cardiac Nursing – Kentucky

Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment, 36-48 hours per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, day shifts

Highlights:

• Comprehensive cardiac procedural experience including pre/post interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology
• Specialize in advanced cardiac procedures: vascular closure devices, arterial/venous sheath management, cardiac monitoring, and TEE assistance
• Utilize cutting-edge technology including IVUS, FFR, Spectranetics Laser, IABP, and temporary/permanent pacemaker/ICD devices
• Perform moderate sedation, synchronized cardioversion, and assist with ablation procedures (RF and Cryoablations)
• Work with diverse patient populations including young adults, adults, and elderly patients requiring specialized cardiac care
• 13-week travel contract with competitive benefits for experienced cardiac nursing professionals

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and CPR certifications required
• EKG and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac procedural nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency in specialized cardiac procedures and equipment
