TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Medical Surgical / Telemetry night shift assignment at a leading hospital in Pikeville, KY. This Med Surg/Tele RN role is ideal for travel nurses and local RNs who are confident caring for a diverse adult patient population on a fast‑paced, high‑acuity unit. • Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical‑surgical and telemetry patients, including complex and high‑acuity cases.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, labs, and patient responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and therapies safely, following provider orders and hospital protocols.
• Perform thorough assessments and document all care accurately within EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and follow emergency and critical care procedures.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards at all times.

• Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, verified through NURSYS (Active KY or Compact RN License).
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Medical‑Surgical / Telemetry experience.
• Previous travel RN experience highly preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required.
• Experience and proficiency with EPIC EMR.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled and function effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Locals accepted for this assignment.
